Winona Life Drawing Group Exhibit: “That Tuesday Thing”

Students of the challenging and time-honored art of drawing from the live model will be exhibiting their work in March at the Midwest Music Store, 168 E. Third Street, from March 1, thru March 31, with an opening reception Thursday March 3, from 5-7 p.m.

Artists and attendees at the Tuesday evening gatherings at St. Mary’s University’s St. Joseph Hall studio will show several pieces each, all completed in the actual sessions, from male or female models. The Winona Life Drawing Group has met in this location for several years. Various media are represented: watercolor, pastel, charcoal, pencil, acrylics, gouache. Artists of all levels of experience, from beginners to retired art teachers, bring their own materials to the two hour sessions. Easels and drawing horses are provided. There is no instruction.
