MCA Seeking Artists to Display Their Work

mca_gallery

The Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts (MCA) is looking for local artists who might interested in displaying their work in Galleria Valencia, which is located inside MCA’s home, the Valenica Arts Center, 1164 W. 10th Street, Winona, MN 55987.

There is no charge to the artist and the work is seen by over a hundred students and families of all ages each week. Since their are many families with young children it is important that all artwork is family friendly. Artists are welcome to sell their work by having the buyer contact them. 2-D work that can be hung through our hanging system works best, but there is an option in the front lobby for 3-D or other work depending on the time of year and space needs. Artists are asked to hang their show and to sign a waiver stating they are responsible for their own insurance. MCA is happy to have a reception for the artist as well. MCA has a long history of displaying artwork from local schools, but has only been featuring professional artists for the past year, but it has been such a success that we look forward to showcasing more.

Come check out the space and dream about your exhibit  by checking out "Celebration of Life" by  Mary Singer which is on display through Sept. 30th.
