Winona County Historical Society’s
Voices From the Past: Woodlawn Cemetery Walk

Held Saturday, October 8 and Sunday, October 9 at Woodlawn Cemetery, Noon – 3 p.m.
Sponsored by Merchants Bank.

Groups are formed at the gate and leave every 10 minutes between Noon and 3 p.m. for about a two hour experience to meet folks from Winona’s storied past. We take you on a walk through historic Woodlawn all full of fall’s colorful splendor. On the way we will stop at six sites where community actors portray the people you would have met running your errands downtown 50, 100, and more years ago. Come by and meet the butchers, bakers, and candy stick makers of Winona’s past and support your local history!

Admission is $10 for Adults ($2 of which goes to Woodlawn Cemetery), $5 for Students, and $3 for youth 12 and younger.

Cannot make the walk through hilly Woodlawn? Join us at the History Center for an indoor seated performance of the sites, Thursday, October 6 at 7 p.m. Or take a ride on the Trester Trolley through the Cemetery at Noon each day. No extra cost for the Trolley but advanced sign up is encouraged as space is limited. Call the History Center at 507-454-2723 ext. 0
