Abstract Ceramic Sculpture Exhibit at Winona Public Library

Artist Lisa Truax has created abstract ceramic sculptures inspired by outdoor landscapes. Her works use local and recycled materials as well as the transformative power of the kiln. The exhibit will be on display in the Winona Public Library’s Bell Art Room from August 2nd to August 30th. Additionally, Truax will give a talk on her unique works of art on Thursday, August 17th at 6PM in the Library’s Bell Art Room. Lisa Truax is originally from Wisconsin, now living in Winona. She teaches at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and has a studio in Pickwick.
