The Winona Arts Center RiverBed Press print studio will hold a free relief printmaking workshop on Saturday, June 16 from 11am – 3pm. Drop in & print! Preregistration is not required. No prior printmaking experience is necessary. Come in to learn about printmaking and try your hand working with relief prints — “printing from a raised surface”. You may print an already cut block or make your own linoleum cut. All supplies are free. If carving a new block, please arrive between noon and 2pm. An adult must accompany children under 14. All ages may print already carved blocks on hand. Alternative styrofoam plates that are created through “carving” with a pencil are available for young children.

This program is funded by a grant from the Elizabeth Callender King Foundation. For more information, call Mary at 608-525-0050.
