Open to any makers, artists, or creative entrepreneurs that are interested in networking with other creatives. Talk about projects you’re working on, make connections, collaborate on ideas, swap stories, or just talk shop. This is an opportunity to connect with other people in a safe space and build your creative tribe!
Just around the corner from coordinator Jovy Rockey’s studio and gallery, The Garage Co-Work Space will be hosting our meet up for this month. While we’ll be discussing the following topic, we’ll also get to find out what other opportunities The Garage might have for creatives in their amazing space!
For this Maker Meet-Up, we’ll be discussing: Applying for Events: Art Festivals, Markets, Juried Art Shows, Trade Shows.
Things we will go over:
- Where might you find various event opportunities?
- Photos? Portfolios? Booth Shots? What does it all mean?
- Juried art process?
Our remaining time will be an open discussion about personal projects, things your working on, or anything you would like to share with the group.
