The Art of Creative Beginnings: The March Schmooze

Wednesday | March 28 | 5:30 to 7:00pm
Outpost | 119 E. 3rd St.

Do you dream of making films? Do you want to establish yourself as a visual artist or writer or performer? Do you know how to find the resources you need to increase your visibility?

Join River Arts Alliance and the Outpost for a panel discussion by established artists who will share their journeys and offer tips to emerging artists about establishing an audience, finding resources, and persisting. Panelists include Mary Farrell, who will discuss her journey as a film maker, Julia Crozier, a visual artist, Ken McCullough, Winona’s Poet Laureate, and Billy X Curmano, a musician and Live Art performer.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m for light refreshments and networking. The program begins at 6 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Vicki Englich at info@riverartsalliance.org .

RAA offers Emerging Artists a special membership of $25 with all of the benefits of membership: personal webpage on the RAA site, support and promotion, access to resources, Members Exhibition for visual artists, and more.

The River Arts Alliance Art Schmooze is a free bi-monthly event featuring special programs and social time for RAA members and the community.
