International Music Series Concert

The Department of Music will present a concert by guest artist, Sowah Mensah, ethnomusicologist, composer and Master Drummer from Ghana, West Africa as part of the International Music Series.

ensah is currently a Professor of music at both Macalester College and the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn. In addition to teaching, Mensah directs African Music Ensembles at both schools and at the University of Minnesota. Mensah has taught music in both Ghana and Nigeria as well.

The concert if free and open to the public.
