Frozen River Film Festival Art Competition

Frozen River Film Festival has announced that they are holding a contest to select artwork to appear on the admission badges for the 2020 film festival. The contest will offer cash prizes in multiple categories.

Interested parties are invited to submit work that creatively highlight different aspects of Winona. Artists are recommended to select one or more of the following themes when creating or selecting artwork to submit: Impressions of Winona; Winter; Film.

Artwork will be judged in three age groups: Elementary/Middle School Students; High School Students, and All Ages. At least one winner from each group will have their artwork featured on a festival pass. Runners-up may also be featured. 

The winners will receive a $75 award and two passes to the festival in their category. Runners-up will receive $50 and two Frozen River passes in the corresponding category.

Deadline for the competition is 5:00pm, June 15, 2019. Works can be submitted by mailing or delivering in person to FRFF, 160 Johnson Street, Winona (the Winona County History Center), or digitally submitting to contact@frff.org. Any artwork medium is eligible. Artwork must be a minimum of 5”x7” in size.  For more details please visit: frozenriver.org/contest.
