This three-part workshop for Winona Friendship Center members will invite participants to explore their own family histories and discuss creative processes, develop creative habits and practices, and explore songwriting and storytelling together. Hear about the process of creating Picture/Portrait, an album inspired by 350 letters written between lead singer Peter Miller’s grandparents during World War II. The event will include a music demonstration and q&a. Winona County Historical Society staff will also share information about preserving your own family archives.
