Winona Writers Group – July Virtual Meeting

Friday | July 10 | 3:30-5:30pm
may end early, depending on how many readers participate
Zoom (details below)

Feel free to use these prompts below, change them, or ignore them and write your own idea. For this meeting, we will not have copies of each other’s work. We will read aloud, then share verbal comments and suggestions. We may be able to share digital copies in the Zoom chat area.

July Prompts:

  1. Ripe cherries, raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries! The garden’s bounty is overflowing. Write about something garden related. Whether you are a gardener or just enjoy garden produce or hate the thought of digging in the dirt and weeding, the garden can provide bountiful ideas.
  2. Use a setting/place to establish mood. Describe the place in a way that directs your readers what to feel.(This is a repeat from last month.)
