DESCRIPTION:May 14 – June 24\, 2023\nOpening Reception | Sunday | May 21 | 2-5 pm\nWinona Arts Center | 228 E 5th St.\nwinonaarts.org \nThe Winona Arts Center is pleased to host an exhibit of the works of artist Jean Billman from May 14 through June 24\, 2023. An opening reception will be held on May 21. The reception will offer shared stories of Jean and her creativity with a potluck celebration to follow. \nJean Billman loved color. It permeated her life. She spent years playing with clay both on the wheel and by hand\, developing quite a colorful\, unique style in majolica. Her favorite medium became watercolor. It challenged her and provided lots of satisfaction. Jean’s family will be donating proceeds from the sale of Jean’s works to the Winona Arts Center in her memory. Learn more.

DESCRIPTION:Island City Brewing Company | 65 E Front St.\nH3OJazz.com \nH3O Jazz Trio and Island City Brewing Company dedicate this month’s Jazz Jam to the Winona County Historical Society in anticipation of its full schedule of History on the River cruises. Weather permitting\, the monthly Jazz Jam will be outside on Island City’s spacious patio on Sunday\, May 21 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. All donations will be matched by the brewery and H3O. To date\, H3O and Island City have helped support local nonprofits with over $32\,000 in total donations through the generosity of Jazz Jam patrons!
