The workshop will take place from 9 am to 4 pm each day for two days\, August 10th and 11th\, 2023\, and the workshop fee is $225. The La Crosse Society of Arts & Crafts spring workshop with Jeff Nelson at Mississippi Mornings was a huge success…so much so that both participants and Jeff asked to come back for more. DESCRIPTION:Winona County History Center | 160 Johnson St.\nwinonahistory.org \nWinona artist\, Patrick Lichty\, reimagines the sites around Winona through the machine lens in a new art show opening at the Winona County History Center August 11 with a reception 4:00 – 6:00 pm. \nWinona is a historical town with a rich and storied history\, from its life on the Mississippi River to its many cultures and industry. But how will it be seen in the future? In Re-Visioning Winona\, Artist and WSU professor Patrick Lichty will use drawing machines\, 3D laser scanning\, and Artificial Intelligence to imagine how Winona might look through the machine lens. The exhibit will run through September 24. There will be a brief talk at 5 pm during the opening. Free and open to the public. Learn more.
