DESCRIPTION:Winona Arts Center | 228 E 5th St.\nwinonaarts.org \nPlease join us for a Fall Free Ink on October 14 at the Winona Arts Center. Come and learn to make monoprints on the printing press\, using the vibrant colors of fall and materials from nature as well. No experience is necessary and the Arts Center will provide all supplies. Drop in anytime between 10 am and 2 pm. Children under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult. \nVolunteers are needed to help with Fall Free Ink. SUMMARY:Community Storytelling Competition: Final Competition
DESCRIPTION:Page Theater | SMU | 700 Terrace Heights\nsandbarstorytellingfestival.org\n\n\n\nThe Sandbar Storytelling Festival (SSF) is adding a new and improved event to their festival this year\, a Community Storytelling Competition. To compete at the festival\, nine community tellers will be chosen during a Pre-Competition Screening on Tuesday\, Oct. 10. Tellers will have five minutes to tell a story of their choice. The best nine will be chosen from the screening to perform for the final competition on Saturday\, Oct. 14\, at 4 pm in the Page Theater at Saint Mary’s University.
