DESCRIPTION:Winona Arts Center | 228 E 5th St.\nwinonaarts.org \nThe Winona Arts Center is happy to host our Figure Drawing Circle Exhibit Opening on Sunday\, September 15 from 1:00-4:00. The figure drawing group meets weekly at the Arts Center and we are excited to display their work. The exhibit runs from September 15 through October 27. \nThroughout the ages\, the center of art has been the human form. Our brains are hardwired to seek out connections with our fellow humans — two dots and a curved line become a smiling face\, we can see people in the shapes of clouds and shadows. Whether crude stick figures\, near photographic renderings\, chiseled sculptures\, or artistic abstractions\, the human body has been a continual source of artistic inspiration. DESCRIPTION:Two Fathoms Brewing | 65 E Front St.\nH3OJazz.com \nOn Sunday\, September 15\, H3O Jazz Trio and Two Fathoms Brewing Company will dedicate their monthly Jazz Jam fundraiser as part of the Project FINE Welcoming Week Celebration. The Jazz Jam takes place outside on Two Fathoms’ spacious patio or in the taproom if weather is bad. \nProject FINE is a nonprofit organization whose mission is “to create an inclusive community by serving refugees and immigrants and building connections across cultures.” H3O Jazz Trio and Two Fathoms Brewing (formerly Island City) have helped support local nonprofits with over $51\,500 in total donations thanks to the generosity of Jazz Jam patrons!
