DESCRIPTION:Sept 17 | Noon – 1 PM\nSt. Martins’s Church\n328 E Broadway St\, Winona\, MN 55987 \nFree organ recitals\, a hilarious play\, can it get any better. Yes!\nFor its final week\, Central Lutheran’s Bach celebration will feature the third free organ recital and the annual return an amazing chamber orchestra. Daniel Lewis\, Director of Music at St. Martin’s Church in Winona\, will present the third and final free organ recital from noon to 1 pm. \n  \nSelections on the program will include a wide array of Bach’s finest compositions: \n\nTrio Sonata No. 1 in Eb Major\, BWV 525\nNun Komm der Heiden Heiland\, BWV 661 (Leipzig Chorale)\nVom Himmel Hoch (Orgelbüchlein)\nIn Dir ist Freude (Orgelbüchlein)\nO Lamme Gottes (Orgelbüchlein)\nValet will ich dir geben\, BWV 736\nChrist Lag in Todesbanden (Orgelbüchlein)\nKomm Gott Schöpfer\, BWV 667 (Leipzig Chorale)\nPrelude and Fugue in Eb Major\, BWV 552 “St. Anne”\n\nConcluding this remarkable celebration will be the return of the Bach Society of Minnesota.\nOn Fri.\, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. this outstanding chamber group will present “Vivaldi on Fire”. The\nconcert features beguiling music by Antonio Vivaldi – the “Red Priest” – a mad genius of\nvirtuosity\, craziness\, and boundless fun. How does Vivaldi fit into a Bach festival?
