The reception will offer shared stories of Jean and her creativity with a potluck celebration to follow. \nJean Billman loved color. It permeated her life. She spent years playing with clay both on the wheel and by hand\, developing quite a colorful\, unique style in majolica. Her favorite medium became watercolor. It challenged her and provided lots of satisfaction. Tasked with arranging her mother’s funeral according to her family’s traditional expectations\, Sarah navigates her plans to relocate while grappling with the bookstore. \nAided by an ensemble of Eastern European neighbors\, opinionated aunties\, and a no-nonsense ex con-employee\, Sarah must face all her responsibilities while remaining true to herself.
