Maria W. Faust Sonnet Contest Kick-Off Event

Each year, the Maria W. Faust Sonnet Contest holds a Kick-Off event in April, in recognition of National Poetry Month. The event will feature presentations by Winona’s Past and Present Poets Laureate, a “Speed Sonnet” contest, snacks, door prizes, and sharing of poetry by attendees. Flutistry will perform during the gathering time from 6:30-7:00pm. Each year we have a ball and the public is welcomed to attend this free event.
