The May Schmooze
Studio Space? Who needs it? How do they find it?
Thursday | May 2 | 5:30 to 7:00pm
Public Launch | 119 E. 3rd St.
Winona is becoming a place known for arts and culture, and as a result, increasing numbers of artists are looking to Winona as a place to live. Can we accommodate their needs? If not, how does Winona need to change in order to welcome the artists and performers who want to live here?
Join River Arts Alliance for a discussion about the local need for studio space for visual and performing artists in the Winona region. RAA wants to assess the need as well as discuss ways that we can assist those who need studio space in which to work and possibly live.
We will meet at Public Launch (formerly The Outpost) at 119 E. 3rd Street in Winona. We will enjoy a social time with light refreshments between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m. The discussion will begin at 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. Come ready to discuss needs, tips, and what RAA as well as the City of Winona can do to assist artists who need space. RAA Schmoozes are always free and open to the public.
The River Arts Alliance Art Schmooze is a free bi-monthly event featuring special programs and social time for RAA members and the community.
