Island City Jazz Jam First Anniversary

Come celebrate a year full of Island City Jazz Jams with the H3O Jazz Trio. The monthly jams take place on the 3rd Sunday of each month from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. As a special thank you, Island City Brewing will offer everyone at the Jazz Jam a special first anniversary discount – $1 off pints with the mention of “Jazz Jam” with each order between 5:30-8:30!

The Island City Jazz Jam began in September 2018 and has welcomed talented performers ages 8 to 91 from Iowa, Wisconsin, various Minnesota cities, and even Arizona!  Whether you play an instrument or sing, the Jazz Jam is a chance for everyone to sit in with a professional rhythm section. All are welcome and encouraged to perform some of their favorite jazz standards in this casual open mic setting.

Interested jammers can choose from a wide selection of jazz tunes. Players can pick music from Hal Leonard Real Books, bring their own, or ask the trio to play their favorites! Simply sign up on the clipboard and get ready to have some fun!

An up-to-date schedule is always available at H3OJazz.com. The event is free and open to everyone – young and not so young. And if you’re not quite ready to sit in, come and enjoy a great evening of jazz.
