The State of the Arts (in Minnesota)
River Arts Alliance is committed to helping our community and members get the word out about the adjustments that we all must make during this time of national uncertainty. We will share information that is provided to us and keep our Facebook feed (www.facebook.com/RiverArtsAlliance/) up-to-date as things progress.
A few updates as of today, March 17:
- Patina will not be performing at Elmaro Winery on Saturday, March 21.
- The Island City Jazz Jam with H3O will not be held on Sunday, March 22.
- The Winona Symphony Orchestra concert will not be held on Saturday, March 28.
- All Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts lessons, classes, and performances are on hold until at least April 14.
- The Minnesota Marine Art Museum is closed until at least March 31.
- All events at Winona State University with 100+ attendees have been canceled through May 1.
- All Page Theatre events have been canceled through at least April 13.
- All Winona Arts Center events have been canceled until further notice.
- The weekly artist gatherings at Ed’s (no name) Bar on Fridays are canceled until bars re-open.
- All Kinstone indoor classes and events have been canceled through March.
- Mid West Music Fest scheduled for May 1-2 has been postponed.
- Because all restaurants and bars in Minnesota are closed until March 27, all events scheduled for these locations are canceled.
