June Prompts: Imagery—one of the most memorable aspects of writing. For June, we’ll focus on work that highlights imagery.
- Write about a taste of summer. Maybe a barbecue or a picnic or the first dripping ice cream cone of the season. Explore the senses with a piece about a food memory.
- Use a setting/place to establish mood. Describe the place in a way that directs your readers what to feel.
