Art/Mixed Media Making
Instructor: Mary Lee Eischen
We’ll gather to make and play with a number of materials: colored pencils, markers, paints, collage images, colorful fabric and more. Our imagination will be sparked in this class with a gentle approach. We have permission to be makers and bring hope to ourselves and the world. We’ll make prayer flags, a practice from Tibet to allow our good thoughts to float on the wind. We’ll create a small book – using a simple signature stitch to bind it. We’ll create cards using collage materials and words of hope. We’ll explore how we keep on making. Materials fee of $10 to be paid directly to the instructor the day of class.
4 Classes on Tuesday evenings beginning October 5 – 26th, 6:30pm – 8:pm
Winona Senior High School, room 158
