Deep in the City – Auditions June 18

This summer SugarLoaf Theater will be doing our summer musical written and directed by executive director of SugarLoaf Theater and RAA member, Seamus Schwaba. The show is called Deep in the City, and it’s a joyful retelling of a traditional Greek myth. All Teens and Adults ages 12+ are welcome to Audition. This show is about hope and joy!!! Auditions are on June 18th, 12:00-3:00 pm at the Winona Arts Center. Performances will be at the Winona History Center on July 29-31 at 7:00 pm. If cast, it will be 100% free of charge to participate.

Over the past few years people have seen nothing but pain and darkness. Help us remind people of the joy of theater!!! And the hope of being part of something. Come audition and remind people that they aren’t alone. All performances will be free to attend. We believe in accessible arts!

For auditions you will be required to prepare 16 bars of a musical theater song along with piano/vocal sheet music. If possible, please email your music to our accompanist, Lisa Douglas, at least a week prior to auditions. Her email address is masterpeacefarm@yahoo.com.
