Sandbar Storytelling Festival Seeking Festival Manager

The Sandbar Storytelling Festival is seeking an independent contractor to act as Festival Manager for the 2023 Festival on October 14 – 16. This person will need to be someone whose experience includes coordinating and managing performing arts events. In addition, this person will have experience with event management, volunteer recruitment, scheduling events in the local schools, and audience services. The ability to multi-task, manage groups of volunteers and contractors, work in a professional, respectful, equitable, and inclusive manner with diverse persons, and remain calm under pressure will be essential. Remuneration is $6,000 – $8,000 (commensurate with experience). The contract is from June 1 – October 31, 2023.
