RAA’s Souper-Duper Pie Walk: A Celebration & Fundraiser Event

New this year, River Arts Alliance is holding a special celebration and fundraiser event: our Souper-Duper Pie Walk. This fun evening will include a soup supper, a pie auction, and a program honoring our first “Champions of the Arts.” Please join us at Sobieski Park Lodge to share a meal, celebrate RAA’s history and ongoing work, and kick off our annual year-end fundraising campaign.
Tickets are $20 with pre-registration or $25 at the door without pre-registration. All payments can be made at the door with cash or check; registration is encouraged to help us plan for attendance numbers. Register here.
The meal will include a choice of several homemade soups, bread, butter, coffee, and apple cider. Bid on a pie in the pie auction to enjoy for dessert with your table or to take home for later!
Champions of the Arts
This year, in recognition of 15 years of our organization’s history, RAA’s Board of Directors has decided to begin a process of honoring “Champions of the Arts.” These are people, past and present, who have made a significant impact on the arts and culture in the Winona area. Our first five Champions of the Arts, who will be recognized at the December event, are foundational leaders who helped create River Arts Alliance and/or helped grow the organization to what it is today: Vicki Englich, Julia Crozier, Heidi Bryant, Greg Peterson, and the late Bernadette Mahfood.
How You Can Help
Sign up here to donate a pie for the pie auction! Home-baked or purchased pies are both welcome; we greatly appreciate any contribution that works for your budget, available time, and baking skills. Creative options like a “deconstructed pie” (ingredients and a pie plate) are also welcome. Pie donation sign-ups are requested by November 24. Pies can be delivered at the event on December 1 or alternative arrangements can be made if needed.
