CALL FOR PART-TIME ARTS ADMINISTRATOR
As a part-time Arts Administrator employed by RAA, you’ll manage operations, activities, and projects that facilitate the mission of River Arts Alliance, a Non-profit Organization. https://riverartsalliance.org/
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement and maintain information systems and email communications, such as the weekly newsletter and website updates
- Write grants and follow-up reports for programs that are funded through state and regional art grants and other funders to meet the organization’s mission
- Plan and organize logistics relating to events, venues, and performers or artists; market performances and events through social media, the newsletter and websites; and attract media coverage including the newspaper
- Renew memberships and recruit new members
- Plan and manage budgets with the Treasurer of the Board
- Develop new projects and fundraising initiatives in consultation with the RAA Board, arts professionals and key stakeholders (e.g. local authorities, local government and communities, venue directors and regional arts boards)
- Use skills in press liaison, public relations
- Provide administrative support to the Board chairman and directors
- In-person presence required at Board meetings and RAA events. Other duties – work from home
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with QuickBooks, WordPress, social media, and arts administration preferred
COMPENSATION $22 an hour for a minimum of 20 hours a week. Additional hours are paid from grants associated with specific projects, which is variable. In 2024, total hours averaged about 30 hours a week.
Position starts January 1, 2025 and is renewable yearly.
