Call to Plein Air Artists for June 7 Event

The Friends of Trempealeau Refuge are pleased to announce their 2025 plein air event for interested artists. This year’s event will be titled Artists Along the Trail and will be held Saturday, June 7, in the Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge.

Participating plein air artists will create along the trails in the Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge 7-11:00 am. The public is welcome to walk along the trails to observe the artists at work. A luncheon for artists will be served at the Outdoor Wonders Learning Center 11:30 am-1:00 pm where artists will set up their easels to display their morning work and meet/greet visitors.

Many participating artists will display their work throughout the month of June in the Crush Pad at the Elmaro Vineyard & Winery in Trempealeau, N14756 Delaney Rd. In addition, participating artists will be setting up their easels to plain air Sunday afternoons June 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 during the Sunday’s Street Market at Elmaro. The closing reception will be held Sunday, June 29, at the Market from 1-4 pm.
