Call for Visual Artists – Exclusive Opportunity for RAA Members

RAA is Filling the Gallery Walls at Engage Winona the Entire Month of May

River Arts Alliance (RAA) has been invited to coordinate arts activities in partnership with the organizers of the Mid West Music Fest during their Saturday, May 10, celebration.

As part of our activities, we’re extending an exclusive opportunity to RAA member visual artists to participate in our month-long gallery exhibit at Engage Winona.

 

This is an exclusive RAA Members-Only opportunity to get your work displayed and presented for sale.

If you are a current River Arts Alliance member (or become a member before the April 25 submission deadline), we’d love to feature your work in the Engage Winona space — not just during Mid West Music, but throughout the entire month of May.

That means your work will be seen by hundreds of gallery visitors for the entire 31 days of May —including the high-traffic day of Saturday, May 10, during the Mid West Music Fest!

 

Engage Winona provides a beautiful exhibit space that maximizes the visibility opportunity to highlight your work.

Eligibility Criteria and Details

• Deadline to submit your work is Friday, April 25. 
• You must be an RAA Member in good standing (or become a member before the April 25 deadline) to submit your work for consideration.
• Works must hang from the gallery wall space. No freestanding pieces or works requiring pedestals or shelves allowed.
• All art work must be ready to hang. NO SAWTOOTH HANGERS.
• Submit as many pieces as you like, but the RAA selection committee will make final decisions for display based on the number of submissions, size of submissions, and content of submissions.
• All submissions must meet family-friendly standards.
• Each piece will be labeled with a title and a price. A specifications sheet will be available on site containing an optional artist bio and description of each piece.
• RAA will collect a modest 10% fundraising commission on all artwork sold during the display period.

 

Interested in submitting your work? Email a clear image/picture of each piece of art work, along with the title, dimensions, and price of each piece, to Rick Hall at admin@riverartsalliance.org before the April 25 deadline.
