I am an artist based in Winona, MN working mostly in oil paints, pastels and charcoal. The stuff of everyday life is the inspiration for my work. Translating moments in time into painted stories. Capturing the magic of light and color, whether a portrait or landscape is my goal. My work has been described as impressionist realism. I love to try to capture the unique qualities of light and life in my subjects.
