Painting is my passion as a visual artist. Working with oils since 2019 in my Onalaska home studio and outside, plein air on occasion, as weather permits.

I'm creating art inspired by my surroundings in order to connect and engage others to embrace the extraordinary.

Always searching to discover new techniques to try on canvas. Recently I've added cold wax to my palette.

Artists Along the Trail-Plein Air Event

Sat. June 7 from 7am-11am Plein Air Painting in the Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge followed by lunch 11:30-1pm at the OWL Center, sponsored by the Friends of Trempealeau Refuge.

For the month of June, closing reception Sunday, June 29 from 1-4
Plus I’ll be joining other artists to plein air paint during Sunday’s Street Market at Elmaro.

 

From Tuscany to Trempealeau Exhibit

Farm to Fun exhibit of Oil Paintings by CShore.  A look at Agritourism from an artist's perspective. Inspired by Poggio Etrusco in Tuscany - Olives to Oil,  Elmaro Vineyard -Grapes to Wine and Ecker’s Apple Farm - Apples to Pie and more. On display for the month of October in the Crush Pad. Reception Date to be announced.

 

Between the Bluffs Plein Air Painting Festival

I’ll be participating in the annual event for 2025 in October.  Show opening and sale on Friday, Oct.17 from 6-9 at Gallery 1802 in La Crosse on State Street and Quick Paint at the International Friendship Gardens Sat., Oct 18, 9am-Noon. More information at betweenthebluffs.com.

 

Plus you may see me plein air painting at various events this summer. Halfway Creek  Music on Sunday evenings in  Holmen and, La Crosse’s Moon Tunes on Thursday evenings.
