Island City Brewing Company’s new owners, Graham Kaczmarek and Brook Merkwan invite everyone to join H3O Jazz Trio on Sunday, January 21 from 2:30 to 5:30 pm as they kick off the new year in the taproom. This month’s Jazz Jam fundraiser recipient will be the Winona Community HUB.

With health disparities and chronic conditions adversely affecting historically underserved populations, Winona Community HUB helps to provide essential services that fall outside the scope of standard medical care. The Winona Community HUB is made up of community-based organizations forming a network of support. It impacts drivers of health in Winona County by connecting individuals with certified community health workers who help them find the resources needed to address barriers to health and well-being. From addressing basic needs like housing and transportation to more complex support like social service referrals and access to mental health resources, the HUB acts as a central registry of local care navigation. More information can be found online at https://www.winonahealth.org/resources-2/winona-community-hub/.

H3O Jazz Trio and Island City Brewing have helped support local nonprofits with over $42,000 in total donations thanks to the generosity of Jazz Jam patrons! The December Jazz Jam contributed over to $1,100 to Sugarloaf Theatre. All Jazz Jam donations are matched by H3O and Island City.

Everyone wishing to sing, play, or cheer on their friends is welcome to join the H3O Jazz Trio at Island City Brewing Company’s monthly Jazz Jam! Interested players can choose from a wide selection of songs. Music is available from the Hal Leonard Real Book series, bring your own music, or just name that tune!

Come early to enjoy a beverage in Island City’s spacious taproom and enjoy an afternoon of great jazz with H3O Jazz Trio and friends … all while showing your support for our community!

An up-to-date schedule is always available at H3OJazz.com. The family-friendly Jazz Jam is free and open to all – young and not so young. Nominate your favorite local nonprofit for a 2024 Jazz Jam fundraiser via H3O’s website:
