Sgraffito Tile Workshop with Richard Spiller

The Winona Arts Center welcomes potter Richard Spiller for a Sgraffito Tile Workshop on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 10 am to 2 pm. Participants will scratch a design of their choosing or creation on either nine 4” tiles or four 6” tiles. Each tile is red earthenware leather hard clay with a white slip that has been applied. Pieces are then bisque fired after which Richard will apply a clear glaze and fire again, then return to the Arts Center at a later date. Registration is required and maximum class size is 12.
