RAA Art Schmooze October 25 at the Black Horse

You’re invited to a River Arts Alliance (RAA) Art Schmooze on Friday evening, October 25, from 5 to 7 pm at the Black Horse Bar & Grill. The Black Horse is located at 34648 Old Homer Rd., Winona (adjacent to Hwy. 61), and this event will be held in the back room.
Held periodically throughout the year, our Schmoozes are casual gatherings for artists of all disciplines and arts supporters, open to current RAA members and non-members alike. Join us for a fun opportunity to meet and socialize with others in our area’s arts community and to learn more about what RAA does and how you can be involved. The event is free and open to the public to attend and no registration is required. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from the Black Horse’s regular menu.
A brief program beginning at 6 pm will include announcements from RAA leaders and an opportunity for attendees to introduce themselves. We will highlight upcoming RAA events including the 24th annual Winona Art Walk & Tour (November 22-23) and our second annual soup and pie fundraiser (December 6). At the Schmooze, and on RAA’s website at https://riverartsalliance.org/programs-and-projects/champions-of-the-arts, participants can nominate individuals in the community to be recognized as Champions of the Arts. Additionally, RAA is recruiting new Board of Directors members (to be elected in January 2025); attend the Schmooze to learn more about this opportunity.
