The Laureate Writers Series will feature an open mic session for its November 6th meeting at the Blue Heron Coffeehouse. The program, normally held on the first Tuesday of every month, will meet at 7 pm on the first Wednesday of November in order to avoid conflicting with election night. The open mic program was scheduled in response to an earlier one that proved very popular. At open mic sessions writers young and old are invited to share original poetry or short prose pieces with members of the audience. No prizes will be awarded. Learn more.
