On March 7th, Delta Eddy will read from her poetry at the Blue Heron Coffeehouse as part of First Tuesday: The Laureate Writers Series. She is the author of Sparks, a collection of poetry published by Tom Driscoll of Shipwreckt Books, a publishing company that recently moved to Winona. Eddy is Professor Emerita at Winona State University, where she taught twentieth century literature, creative writing, and classics for many years. She published most of her work as Gary Eddy, transitioning to her natural state in 2017. The reading will be followed by a short Q&A, a book signing, and an open mic. This event is sponsored by the Maria W. Faust Sonnet Contest in partnership with the Blue Heron Coffeehouse. Learn more.
