Saint Mary’s Music Alumni Reunite for Heukeshoven Farewell Concert

On April 16th, the Jazz Ensemble and Concert Band combine in one concert to celebrate the Heukeshovens’ years of teaching at Saint Mary’s University. The Jazz Ensemble, led by A. Eric Heukeshoven, will take the stage first, featuring many returning alumni on this “players’ favorites” concert. Then the Concert Band will take the stage with a concert fanfare, then presenting a new composition by Benjamin D. Taylor through the Kaplan Foundation Commissioning program which started in 2000. Alumni musicians will join in for Holst’s Suite #1. The concert is free; arrive early for best seats. Learn more.
