March Jazz Jam Supports WIFA

Sunday | March 15 | 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM | Two Fathoms Brewery | Winona

As a group of local students prepare to visit Winona’s sister city, Misato, Japan, the monthly Jazz Jam on Sunday March 15, 2026, from 2:30 to 5:30 pm will support the Winona International Friendship Association (WIFA).

The Winona International Friendship Association (WIFA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering global understanding, cultural exchange, and lifelong friendships. Through its longstanding Sister City relationship with Misato, Japan, WIFA provides meaningful opportunities for local students and families to engage in international exchange experiences. This April, WIFA will travel to Misato with 15 Winona-area students in grades 8–10, accompanied by six dedicated adult chaperones, for an immersive cultural exchange experience. In return, our Misato, Japan Sister City Friends are welcomed to Winona each October, where they experience Midwestern hospitality, attend local schools, and build lasting friendships with host families. WIFA partners with local businesses, schools, and community leaders to host cultural events, fundraisers, and educational initiatives that promote cross-cultural appreciation and global citizenship.

H3O Jazz Trio and Two Fathoms Brewing (formerly Island City) have helped support local nonprofits with over $78,000 in total donations thanks to the generosity of Jazz Jam patrons! Last month’s Jazz Jam contributed $1,210 supporting the Winona Symphony’s annual Children’s Concert. In addition to H3O matching all donations, Two Fathoms Brewing contributes 20% of their Jazz Jam Sunday profits!

Everyone wishing to sing, play, or cheer on their friends is welcome to join the H3O Jazz Trio at Two Fathoms Brewing Company’s monthly Jazz Jam! Interested players can choose from a wide selection of songs. Music is available from the Hal Leonard Real Book series, bring your own music, or just name that tune!

Come early to enjoy a Two Fathom’s beverage and enjoy an afternoon of great music with H3O Jazz Trio and friends … all while showing your support for our community!
