Her recent move to Winona (the land of her pioneer ancestors) has inspired her to launch other history-oriented writing projects.

Ruth Anfinson Bures graduated from Drake University (BME) and St. Mary’s University of Minnesota, (ME, EdD).

Terri Karsten, has written dozens of short stories for magazines and anthologies, including mysteries in The Colored Lens, and Cosmic Roots and Eldritch Shores,as well as historical fiction, picture books, and non-fiction.
