Hi! I'm Holley Schmidlapp. I enthusiastically employ abstract design to capture how I feel rather than what I see!
Trained in Wichita, KS, I grew up around the arts surrounding our driftless region and thus quickly gravitated towards the free-flowing motion of rapidly excavating layers of acrylic on pieces of watercolor paper in a fluid motion.
I love it when art challenges us and I was taught that it should teach us something. In this manner, you'll see I have a habit of rotating my art until I'm happy with each orientational view.
