Family Art Day - 2015
Family Art Day is a free, interactive art adventure for all ages and held the first Saturday in September in Lake Park. Adults are especially encouraged to explore their inner child.
The goal of this day is to celebrate the arts through fun family art activities that continue the efforts of River Arts Alliance and City of Winona to promote arts in the community through hands-on activities and experiential learning. These activities provide exposure to different art mediums and develop appreciation for the processes of making art while having FUN!!!
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board and the Southeast Minnesota Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts & cultural heritage fund.
