Family Art Day
Saturday, September 7, 2024, 10 am - 2 pm
River Arts Alliance’s ever-popular Family Art Day returns on the first Saturday of September, in the Jaycee Pavilion at Lake Park, Winona. Kids and families of all ages can try out a variety of hands-on arts activities at stations led by local artists. The event is free and open to all. Please note that this year, Family Art Day will take place on the Saturday after Labor Day.
Activities and artists at Family Art Day 2024 will include:

Fish Prints with Jen Benson
Handmade Zines with Billy X Curmano
Hatmaking with Bill Crozier, Alice Crozier, & Carolyn Veeder
Modelling Clay with Michelle Cochran
Mural Painting with Julia Crozier
Rock Painting with Lisa Douglas
Watercolor Painting with Linda Klabo
Wax String Art with Heather Casper of MMAM
Weaving with Donna Miliotis
Wheel-thrown Pottery with Brianne Daniels, Mickey Maslowski, Anne Scott Plummer, & Teresa Schumaker
Volunteers are needed to help make Family Art Day run smoothly: roles include greeting attendees, assisting artists at their stations, and helping with set-up and clean-up. If you are interested in volunteering this year, please contact Johanna at admin@riverartsalliance.org. Thank you!
