Sugarloaf Community Theatre Presents Winnie the Pooh and the Birthday Surprise!

Bluffview Montessori School
Saturday, February 28 | 10 AM & 2 PM
Sunday, March 1 | 2 PM

If you’re seeking an affordable audience-interactive theatrical experience for all ages, Sugarloaf Community Theatre’s original production of Winnie the Pooh and the Birthday Surprise, written by local playwright Ash Wicka, delivers. Tickets make a great Valentine’s gift for family, friends or yourself and the experience is sure to deliver laughs, a gentle heart massage and a “be kind” message.

From the moment you enter the venue you’ll find opportunities to: win a Winnie the Pooh quilt for only a dollar a chance, have a look-see at the honey-themed treats in the Sugarloaf Shop or play a free game of Pin the Tail on Eeyore. Then select your seats and prepare to be entertained. The play is less than an hour long, a great fit for young and old jitterbugs.

Take a read through this cast list since you might find your adult neighbor or kids’ classmate who’s been working hard to deliver a welcome break from news cycles and ho-hums. Narrator 1: Brian Gilmore; Narrator 2: Mariah Williams; Winnie the Pooh: Melissa Wengen; Piglet: Nikolai O’Cullen; Tigger: Ash Wicka; Eeyore: Wendy Klinger; Rabbit: Beth Pekar; Owl: Audric Gotz; Christopher Robin: Zebedee Alford; Kanga: Peyton Wicklund; Roo: Ethan Klinger.

Tickets are just $10 each. All performances will be held at Bluffview Montessori School, 1321 Gilmore Avenue, on Saturday February 28 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and Sunday March 1 at 2. Plenty of easy parking and fully handicap accessible. Join Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, and their friends from the Hundred Acre Wood as they set out to plan a delightful surprise birthday celebration for Christopher Robin.
