Pajama Jazzboree

The Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts (MCA) will present the first ever Pajama Jazzboree, on Tuesday, March 14th at 6:30pm in the Academy Theatre at MCA. This is a special jazz music concert geared towards Winona area students aged 2-12 and their families. Families will be invited to cuddle up on a blanket in their jammies or relax in a chair while MCA’s 3 youth Jazz Combo ensembles provide an unforgettable introduction to jazz music in a casual but educational atmosphere. An audience participation section and the grand finale which will include MCA’s advanced tap dancers in a lively performance to “When the Saints Go Marching In” will enhance the experience. This brand new concert is free and open to the public thanks to generous support from the Elizabeth Callender King Foundation.
