Pottery Exhibit at Winona Public Library
September 6 – September 29, 2017
Winona Public Library | Bell Art Room
Pottery can be made into all sorts of things. For example, it can be made for use – dinnerware, bakeware, serving dishes, and vase or luminary. Alternatively, it can be made into animals; those that are wild threatened, or endangered. That is exactly what the exhibiting artist at the Winona Public Library, Mickey Maslowski, has to offer. What began as a hobby for Maslowski in 1985 soon became a form of art. In her pottery, you will find colors that reflect those in the woods or at the shore, in an animal friend’s eyes or a child’s sun-brightened hair.
The City of Winona is a partner of River Arts Alliance.
