Organ Recital featuring Sandy Todd and Nancy Edstrom Bachler

The church’s very own organists Sandy Todd and Nancy Edstrom Bachler will perform a varied program including organ solos, organ-piano duets and four-handed/four footed organ pieces! We’ll also take a moment to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the installation of “Cassie,” our Casavant pipe organ. She was added in July, 1929, and has been playing beautifully ever since.

Doors open at 3:30. A meet-and-greet reception will follow the recital. The church is air-conditioned and handicap accessible at the canopied entrance on Johnson Street. Admission is by freewill donation.

The recital series is co-sponsored by the Southeast Minnesota Chapter of the American Guild of Organists and the Levsen Organ Company. Remaining recitals are on August 10th and August 24th. The First Congregational Church is an Open and Affirming Community of Faith. All are welcome.
