Katie Neece: Image/Surface

Artist Katie Neece will join the Winona State community in the gallery via Skype at 12pm on Thursday, November 21st to discuss her exhibition Image/Surface on view in the Paul Watkins Gallery through December 13th.

The exhibition juxtaposes both oil paintings and digital constructions that, in the artist’s words, "highlight the ways in which painting is constantly conditioned by technology, not only presently but also throughout the historical trajectory of painting."

Neece is based in South Bend, Indiana where she is currently earning a Master Fine Arts degree at the University of Notre Dame.
