Nia and the Dance Arts

Join us for a wonderful time of exploring the dance arts in Nia: modern dance, jazz dance, and the freedom created by Isadora Duncan.  Mary Lee Eischen will demonstration a few of our Nia moves and then everyone can move the choreography in their body. We’ll view some uplifting images of some dance heroes such as Debbie Rosas, co-founder/creator of Nia, Martha Graham, Agnes De Mille and Isadora Duncan. Then we’ll put in all together in a shortened Nia class. Joy will be in the house!
