SPLaSH – a contraction of “short play showcase” – is a biennial production of Saint Mary’s department of Theatre and Dance. Student directed, designed, performed, and (in most cases) written, you’ll experience the talented artistic vision of our current students in their performance of four theatrical works: Jean Paul Sartre’s legendary post-war meditation on hell, No Exit; Theatre senior Daniel Collette’s Denise in Office 208, a wild comic contrast to Sartre’s vision; a hilarious family farce by senior Maggie McGee titled Switched at Death; and, to round out the evening, a never-to-be-repeated “long form” improvisational performance of a short play created on the spot by our own Rough Draft Improv Troupe. Seating in the Studio Theatre is limited, so order your tickets early! Tickets: $10 adults, $5 students, seniors and youth
