Art In the Time of Covid Exhibition

The Winona Arts Center, 228 East 5th, Winona, MN presents a special exhibition titled Art In the Time of Covid, which showcases artworks created during the past 18 months.

The exhibition theme reflects how the arts have helped individuals deal with the uncertainty and isolation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. The exhibition gives community members an opportunity to share how their experiences were impacted by the arts, or influenced the artworks created by them. The exhibit features paintings, drawings, prints, fiber works, stained-glass, computer-generated works, photography; both digital and film, mixed media, collage, ceramics, and sculptures by 60 visual artists as well as writers and poets. Regular gallery hours for this exhibit are Wednesdays from 4-7pm and Saturday and Sundays from 1-4pm or by appointment. An online book of the exhibit is available at winonaarts.org/exhibit-book.

The Art In the Time of Covid exhibit and performance events are made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from MN States Arts Board thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts & Cultural Heritage fund.
